About The Position
Confidence Management Solutions (CMS) is currently recruiting experienced Housekeeping Staff for a long-term care nursing facility in Orlando, Florida. We have Full-Time and Part-time Positions Available. We provide on-the-job training and welcome walk-ins to fill out an application in person. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility, including resident rooms, bathrooms, and public areas, as well as handling trash and bio-hazard waste. Additionally, there are opportunities to work in laundry, processing linens and resident clothing, or as a Floor Tech, maintaining all floors through various cleaning and maintenance procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- 1-year long-term care, hospital, or healthcare experienced preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Nursing Home, Senior Living, Hospital, or Healthcare experience required.
Responsibilities
- Maintain proper cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility.
- Dispose of trash, bio-hazard waste, and other materials.
- Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and public areas.
- Process the linen for the facility and personal residents clothing.
- Operates commercial washers and dryers.
- Maintain all floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, stripping, waxing, and buffing throughout the facility.
- Safely operate extractor, auto-scraper, high speed buffer, shop vac, side-to-side buffer, vacuum, and steam machine.
- Perform other job-related duties as they become required.
