About The Position

First impressions count. To get our guests’ memorable experiences off to an unforgettable start, we’re looking for a Housekeeping Room Inspector who can assist room attendants on assigned floors in preparing the rooms and ensuring that the they are in perfect condition to welcome our guests and make them feel at home.

Requirements

Communication skills - guests will need to come to you with concerns as well as compliments, so you’ll be easy to talk to
Your problem-solving skills will turn issues into opportunities, so every guest leaves with great memories
Fluency in the local language - extra language skills would be great, but not essential
Literate and tech-savvy - you’ll need a good grasp of reading, writing, basic math and computer skills

Responsibilities

Inspect all assigned areas to ensure furnishings, guest rooms/suites, equipment, linens, and public areas are clean and in good repair to meet guest satisfaction. Advise employees of deficiencies and instruct them in corrective action.
Inspect storage rooms and room attendant carts for neatness, cleanliness, adequate supplies, and good repair.
May perform daily housekeeping duties necessary including makings beds and vacuuming and cleaning guest rooms to ensure guest satisfaction.
May regularly assist with deep cleaning projects.
