About The Position

The Westin Great Southern Hotel is looking for experienced and customer service-oriented individuals to join their Housekeeping Team as a Housekeeping Inspector. The Housekeeping team plays a crucial role in making the hotel feel like home for guests, ensuring they have an enjoyable and comfortable stay. This position contributes to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar position in a hotel is a plus.
• A keen eye for detail.
• Respect for the importance of impeccably clean guest rooms and supplies.
• Willingness to perform physical work.
• Pride in organizational and time management skills.
• Flexibility to work a variety of different days and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the inspection of cleaned guest rooms, turndown service, public areas and back of the house.
• Ensure compliance with accident/loss prevention programs, health/sanitation standards and regulations.
• Achieve a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Assist with assignments of special requests.
• Issue supplies to staff.
• Log items into the Lost & Found log as needed.
• Respond to guest requests, concerns and problems to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
