About The Position

The Westin Great Southern Hotel is looking for experienced and customer service-oriented individuals to join their Housekeeping Team as a Housekeeping Inspector. This role contributes to ensuring guests have an enjoyable and comfortable stay by maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of hotel rooms and public areas. Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar position in a hotel is a plus.
• A keen eye for detail.
• Respect for the importance that impeccably clean guest rooms and supplies have in a hotel.
• Willingness to perform physical work.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Flexibility to work a variety of different days and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the inspection of cleaned guest rooms, turndown service, public areas and back of the house.
• Ensure compliance with accident/loss prevention programs, health/sanitation standards and regulations to achieve a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Assist with assignments of special requests.
• Issue supplies to staff.
• Log items into the Lost & Found log as needed.
• Respond to guest requests, concerns and problems to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
