About The Position

The Housekeeping Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of guest rooms, hallways, elevators, public areas, and service corridors in accordance with hotel standards. This role also involves adhering to the hotel's lost and found policies, participating in emergency procedures, and ensuring the safety and well-being of guests.

Requirements

• Ability to clean, dust, wax, scrub, polish and service guest rooms daily
• Familiarity with hotel's lost and found policies and procedures
• Ability to follow hotel's health, safety, and hygiene regulations
• Ability to respond to hotel emergencies and safety situations
• Ability to check guest occupancy and verify vacated rooms
• Ability to report inconsistencies to management
• Ability to participate in Emergency Procedures
• Ability to immediately report and turn over found items
• Ability to clean 15+ rooms per day

Responsibilities

• Ensures the cleanliness of guest room hallways, elevators, public areas and service corridors in accordance with hotel standards
• Adheres to the hotel’s lost and found policies and procedures
• Clean, dust, wax, scrub, polish and service guest rooms daily in accordance with hotel procedures
• Be responsible for signing out, securing, and returning of hotel passkeys for each day worked
• room keys found in checked-out rooms
• Follow all procedures when responding to any hotel emergency or safety situations, including but not limited to, handling blood-borne pathogens, sharps
• Complies with hotel’s health, safety and hygiene regulations
• Ensuring the safety and well being of guests by checking guest occupancy and verifying that rooms have been vacated and reports any inconsistencies to the executive housekeeper, hotel manager or housekeeping supervisor
• Participating in Emergency Procedure as per hotel’s Policy & Procedures
• Immediately reports and turns over found items to Housekeeping Office in accordance with hotel procedures
• Daily detail& clean up to and including 15+ rooms per day
