About The Position

The Water Inn is looking for enthusiastic, attentive, and approachable individuals to join their team as Housekeeping Room Attendants. This role is crucial in ensuring guests feel welcomed and comfortable from the moment they arrive. The position involves preparing and cleaning guest rooms to exceptional standards, focusing on both cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Room attendants are expected to plan their day efficiently, prioritize tasks, and go above and beyond to make guests feel special. This includes anticipating guest needs, such as providing extra amenities or hangers, and acting as an ambassador for the hotel and city. The role requires a high standard of work, efficiency, and pride in delivering a quality product to guests.

Requirements

  • Some experience in housekeeping/cleaner.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.
  • Understanding that SERVICE and CLEANLINESS are the keys to any successful hotel.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing to clean guest rooms for the day's turnover.
  • Meeting every guest with exceptional service, cleanliness, and care.
  • Obtaining a list of rooms that have checked out, will be checking out, or will be staying over to plan and prioritize the day's tasks.
  • Going above and beyond to make guests feel special by anticipating their needs.
  • Ensuring the cleanliness of guest rooms, focusing on guests and their needs.
  • Acting as an ambassador for the hotel, surroundings, and city.
  • Ensuring guest rooms are impeccably cleaned, sanitized, and ready for guests.
  • Tackling rooms efficiently and identifying items that need correction.
  • Communicating identified issues through appropriate channels.
  • Taking pride in the quality and cleanliness of the product guests are paying for.
  • Following company policies and standards, such as sanitizing high-touch areas.
  • Cleaning stay-over rooms at a convenient time for guests.
  • Cleaning check-out rooms in time for the day's arrivals.
  • Communicating with other departments to ensure special requests are met promptly.
  • Taking on additional administrative tasks as set forth by leaders.
  • Maintaining a calm and welcoming demeanor while multitasking to handle guest interactions and daily tasks.
  • Listening respectfully to guest complaints, empathizing, and working efficiently towards a resolution or involving a manager if necessary.
  • Following all company and brand standards to maintain cleanliness levels.
