About The Position

Experienced Housekeeping Manager for our Resort, Carter Creek Winery Resort & Spa that is opening SOON, located in Johnson City, Texas. The successful candidate should be a motivated self-starter who is energetic and able to work in a fast paced organization. The candidate needs strong leadership skills, the ability to multi-task, strong communication skills and work within assigned deadlines.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 3 years supervisory experience
• Must have experience in the hospitality/guest services industry
• Flexibility with schedule, must be able to work weekends

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual a plus

Responsibilities

• Creating weekly schedules for room attendants, housemen and laundry staff
• Establish and implement operational procedures for the housekeeping department
• Supervise housekeeping and laundry staff; hiring, performance evaluations, training and development
• Develop department’s annual budget. Monitors performance against plan
• Maintains room quality based on hotel objectives
• Maintains productivity and labor cost goals
• Orders and receives supplies and handles inventories
• Monitors and maintains level of cleanliness in rooms, storage areas, laundry, restrooms and public areas
