This leader not only holds themselves, but their team to a high standard of excellence in the overall housekeeping operations but also guarantees the cleanliness and sanitation of the hotel, guests rooms and other assigned areas as their own.

Requirements

Prior experience required in hotel housekeeping leadership
Attention to detail and execution
Proven team leadership capabilities
Ability to multitask

Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, and develop Team Members
Remain open in communication to ensure fairness and consistency
Review staffing levels to ensure guest service, operational needs and financial/productivity objectives are met
Obtain list of rooms to be cleaned immediately and list of prospective check-outs to prepare work assignments
Stock inventories to ensure adequate supplies
Supervise an effective inspection program for all guest rooms and public areas
Understand the impact of the department’s operations on the overall financial goals
