Requirements

• Experience in Housekeeping or Laundry Services, Preferably in a Healthcare Setting
• Strong Supervisory or Leadership Experience
• Clear Communication Skills, Both Verbally and in Writing
• Organization, Detail-orientation, and Ability to Multitask Effectively
• Understanding of Infection Control and Sanitation Protocols in Long-term Care
• Genuine Care and Compassion for Elderly and Disabled Individuals

Responsibilities

• Hire, Train, Supervise, and Evaluate Housekeeping and Laundry Staff
• Create Department Schedules Aligned with Census and Labor Budgets
• Order and Manage Supply Levels While Maintaining Budget Controls
• Perform and Oversee Mopping, Dusting, Vacuuming, Polishing, and Disinfecting
• Conduct Routine Inspections for Sanitation, Infection Control, and Cleanliness Compliance
• Provide Instruction on Safe and Effective Cleaning and Laundry Procedures
• Ensure Consistent Linen Delivery, Personal Laundry Service, and Organized Supply Rooms
