About The Position
Puget Sound Care is hiring a Housekeeping & Laundry Supervisor for our 4-Star skilled nursing facility located in West Olympia. We pride ourselves on the quality care we provide our residents and comradery of our staff. We provide both Long-Term Care and Short-Term Acute Care. We are a very family-friendly company and work around a lot of varying life schedules.
Requirements
- Must have a thorough understanding of infection control requirements in skilled nursing facilities in Washington state.
- Must have an understanding of budget parameters.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in housekeeping management.
- Must be familiar with skilled nursing and common infection control procedures.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience as a supervisor preferred.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the operations of the housekeeping and laundry department, including management of staff and procedures.
- Responsible for staff scheduling and supply ordering for the department.
- Must keep organized records and documentation of inventory.
- Responsible for reaching out to vendors as needed for any work requiring a high level of expertise on equipment repairs.
- Oversees all employees in the housekeeping and laundry department.
