About The Position
The County of Hastings is currently accepting applications for a Temporary Part-time Housekeeping & Laundry Aide at Hastings Manor Long Term Care Facility in Belleville, Ontario.
Requirements
- Must possess a Grade 12 Diploma or Equivalent
- Previous institutional housekeeping and laundry experience
- Must have the demonstrated ability to perform, with minimal supervision, the daily routines developed for the Housekeeping and Laundry Department.
- Must have the demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with the elderly, fellow employees and the general public.
- Must have the demonstrated ability to accurately follow written procedures and verbal instructions from Supervisory staff and to carry out any and all assigned duties.
- Must have the demonstrated ability to regularly and punctually attend work
- The successful candidate will be required to provide a clear Criminal Record Check and/or Vulnerable Sector Check.
Responsibilities
- Perform general housekeeping and laundry work and other duties as assigned.
