About The Position
The Housekeeping & Laundry Aide helps provide residents with a clean, safe, comfortable, and homelike environment. The role includes processing resident clothing and facility linens, maintaining laundry equipment and work areas, cleaning resident and common areas, and supporting facility sanitation and infection-control standards. The position is full-time, with hours of 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, every other weekend, and rotating holidays.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous housekeeping or laundry experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing and facility linens.
- Ensure residents' personal clothing is properly labeled and cared for.
- Maintain laundry equipment and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
- Clean resident and common areas, including offices, lounges, hallways, restrooms, and entrances.
- Perform routine and terminal cleaning of resident rooms.
- Vacuum and shampoo carpets, empty trash, and replenish supplies.
- Assist in maintaining infection-control and sanitation standards throughout the facility.
- Work collaboratively with maintenance and nursing staff to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
- Follow safety procedures, company policies, and regulatory requirements while respecting residents' rights, privacy, and dignity.
