About The Position

The Housekeeping/Laundry Aide provides cleaning and laundry services to help maintain a safe, sanitary, comfortable, and homelike environment for residents, staff, and the public. The role calls for a supportive presence that helps create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents, teamwork toward excellent resident care, and the stamina, strength, and endurance needed to provide cleaning services. The aide is expected to demonstrate American Senior Communities’ C.A.R.E. values—Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence—in interactions with residents, family members, customers, and staff. Requirements

High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Stamina, strength, and endurance to provide cleaning services.
Ability to work toward a common goal as part of a team.
Ability to demonstrate Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.
