About The Position

The Housekeeping/Laundry Aide provides cleaning and laundry services to help maintain a safe, sanitary, comfortable, and homelike environment for residents, staff, and the public. The role calls for a supportive presence, teamwork toward excellent resident care, and the stamina, strength, and endurance needed to perform cleaning services. The aide is expected to demonstrate the C.A.R.E. values—Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence—in interactions with residents, family members, customers, and staff.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Stamina, strength, and endurance to provide cleaning services.
• Ability to work toward common team goals.
• Demonstrates Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide cleaning services for residents, staff, and the public.
• Provide laundry services.
• Help maintain a safe, sanitary, comfortable, and homelike environment.
• Demonstrate the C.A.R.E. values in interactions with residents, family members, customers, and staff.
• Work as part of a team toward excellent resident care and help create a comforting, engaging atmosphere for residents.
