About The Position

The Hampton Inn & Suites Port St. Lucie is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and hands-on Housekeeping Inspector to lead our housekeeping team. You’ll ensure our guests experience a spotless, comfortable, and welcoming environment — every time they walk through our doors. This is a key leadership role supporting and relieving the Housekeeping Supervisor, ensuring high standards in cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and team development.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Housekeeping Inspector
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • A passion for cleanliness, hospitality, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and motivate a diverse team.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms, hallways, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
  • Train, supervise, and inspect housekeeping and laundry staff to meet brand and quality standards.
  • Ensure proper handling, labeling, and return of guest lost & found items.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve maintenance or guest issues quickly.
  • Perform room and area inspections daily; oversee deep cleaning, special projects, and inventory control.
  • Support scheduling, budgeting, and supply management for the department.
  • Step in to lead the team in the Executive Housekeeper’s absence.
