About The Position

We are hiring a Housekeeping Inspector to provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times. This role ensures guest satisfaction through room cleanliness and attention to guest needs. The Housekeeping Inspector will clean rooms daily following Housekeeping Guidelines, check fixtures and equipment for proper operation, and inspect rooms for maintenance needs, reporting them via service requests. Daily general cleaning duties, including changing bed linens and performing assigned tasks, are also part of this role. The inspector will log cleaned rooms, maintain and restock the housekeeping cart, and ensure the cleanliness of the cart, linen room, and vacuum cleaner. Additionally, this position requires knowledge of laundry equipment operation and maintaining public area cleanliness.

  • Ability to ensure guest satisfaction through room cleanliness and attention to guest needs.
  • Ability to clean rooms daily following the Housekeeping Guidelines.
  • Ability to check fixtures, television, radio, and heating/cooling equipment for proper operation.
  • Ability to inspect room for maintenance needs and report on maintenance service requests.
  • Ability to perform daily general clean duties and changing of bedspreads, blankets, mattress pads and shower curtains as assigned.
  • Ability to log rooms cleaned on daily housekeeping report.
  • Ability to clean, organize, and restock cart at the end of the day (terry, cups, toilet paper, rags, and fill spray bottles).
  • Ability to maintain cart, linen room, and vacuum cleaner cleanliness.
  • Knowledge of how to operate laundry equipment and maintain public area cleanliness.
