About The Position

The Housekeeping Houseperson supports the hotel housekeeping team by maintaining cleanliness in public areas, delivering linens and supplies, stocking housekeeping carts, and assisting with room resets and other cleaning tasks as needed. The role helps ensure that guest rooms and common areas meet HVMG’s cleanliness standards and that housekeeping staff have the supplies they need to provide guest experiences. The position reports to the Executive Housekeeper; the responsibilities section also identifies the Housekeeping Supervisor or Executive Housekeeper as a reporting contact. The schedule may vary and can include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. The employer invites applicants to share their scheduling needs. Hotel experience is a plus, and the role requires a combination of education and experience.

Requirements

A combination of education and experience.
Eligible to work in the United States.
Sufficient education and/or literacy to identify and read product labels and communicate with guests about job-related needs.
Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required, with or without reasonable accommodations.
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed.
A warm, professional demeanor, including a friendly personality and positive attitude.
