About The Position

A Kolter Hospitality Housekeeping Supervisor delivers service excellence to our guests and ensures the creation of a larger than home, welcoming experience. This position is responsible for daily supervision of cleaning and assists in administration of Housekeeping services in safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the housekeeping staff
  • Prepare schedules for the staff and complete the work distribution report, ensuring all sections are covered.
  • Break out the house and provide team with daily assignments
  • Evaluate the staff’s job performance and coach and counsel as necessary.
  • Train and supervise all new associates and provide on-going training for current staff.
  • Clearly communicate the standards of performance and ensure all required training occurs.
  • Perform and supervise the cleaning and inspection of guest rooms, public areas, and back of the house
  • Ensure compliance with proper cleaning techniques, procedures, and brand standards.
  • Check for early make-ups, special requests and VIPs.
  • Order supplies and maintain accurate inventory.
  • Follow proper lost and found procedures for items left behind in a guest room.
  • Follow all safety procedures while working.
  • Run a departure report and recheck all rooms showing up in your assigned section.
  • Write up work orders for all repairs and immediately report any broken door locks or safety hazards to management for immediate attention by the Engineering team.
  • Call in ready rooms to Housekeeping Department; enter room status in housekeeping computer.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
