About The Position
This role is responsible for general restroom cleanings, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, emptying trash, cleaning of glass/windows/doors/sinks/faucets/stainless/stall walls/doors, restocking paper products and chemicals, and maintaining the cleanliness of all assigned areas. The floater is required to work where needed and must follow a set daily routine in a timely manner. This position involves the safe use of chemicals and other assigned tasks as directed by a supervisor or on a daily check sheet.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. on a daily basis.
- Must be able to work with little supervision on a daily basis.
- Must be able to push, pull, stand/walk on hard floors, bend, and reach overhead.
- 6 months - 1 year experience in Housekeeping preferred.
- Rehire eligibility: cannot have worked for Tyson 3 or more times.
- Rehires have a waiting period of 180 days.
- Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities

- Maintain cleanliness of all assigned areas in a set daily routine and in a timely manner.
- Safely use chemicals and perform other assigned tasks.
- Follow an area assigned check list.
- Maintain a consistent and safe cleaning routine.
- Follow standards set up in Housekeeping Manuals, MSDS logs, and any other assigned documents.
