About The Position

General Restroom cleanings: sweeping, mopping, dusting, emptying trash, cleaning of glass/windows/sinks/faucets/stainless/stall walls/doors, restocking paper products and chemicals, maintaining cleanliness of all assigned areas in a set daily routine and in a timely manner. Safe use of chemicals and any other assigned tasks on a daily check sheet or by the supervisor.

Requirements

3 Months experience in Housekeeping (can be a combination of multiple employers).
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. on a daily basis.
Must be able to work with little supervision on a daily basis.
Must be able to push, pull, stand/walk on hard floors, bend, and reach overhead.
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

Rehire eligibility: cannot have worked for Tyson 3 or more times.
Waiting period for rehire - 180 days.
Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner.

Responsibilities

Perform general restroom cleanings including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and emptying trash.
Clean glass, windows, sinks, faucets, stainless steel surfaces, stall walls, and doors.
Restock paper products and chemicals.
Maintain cleanliness of all assigned areas following a set daily routine and in a timely manner.
Safely use chemicals and perform any other assigned tasks on a daily check sheet or by the supervisor.
Follow an area assigned check list.
Maintain a consistent and safe cleaning routine.
Adhere to standards set up in the Housekeeping Manuals, MSDS logs, and any other trained or assigned documents.
