About The Position

This role is responsible for general housekeeping duties, including cleaning restrooms, sweeping, mopping, dusting, emptying trash, cleaning various surfaces and fixtures, and restocking supplies. The floater is required to work where needed and maintain cleanliness in assigned areas according to a daily routine and in a timely manner. This position also involves the safe use of chemicals and other assigned tasks as directed by a supervisor or daily check sheet.

Requirements

6 months - 1 year experience in Housekeeping preferred.
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. on a daily basis.
Must be able to work with little supervision on a daily basis.
Must be able to push, pull, stand/walk on hard floors, bend, and reach overhead.
Rehire eligibility: cannot have worked for Tyson 3 or more times.
Rehires have a waiting period of 180 days.
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Perform general restroom cleanings: sweeping, mopping, dusting, emptying trash.
Clean glass, windows, doors, sinks, faucets, stainless steel, and stall walls/doors.
Restock paper products and chemicals.
Maintain cleanliness of all assigned areas in a set daily routine and in a timely manner.
Safely use chemicals and perform other assigned tasks on a daily check sheet or by the supervisor.
Follow an area assigned check list.
Maintain a consistent and safe cleaning routine.
Follow standards set up in Housekeeping Manuals, MSDS logs, and any other trained documents.
