About The Position

As an Environmental Services (EVS) representative, you will play a critical role in continuing the healing mission of Deaconess. The EVS department supports new hires with hands-on training through a two-week orientation period, no prior experience required. EVS Department Roles include Housekeeper (responsible for cleaning and disinfecting), Floor Care Rep. (clean and maintain floors), Waste Processor (transport waste to collection and/or disposal points), and Project Worker (furniture movement, set up events, UV light operation).

Requirements

• No experience needed.
• Must work every other weekend and rotating holidays for full-time and part-time employees.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, common areas, and other assigned spaces.
• Maintaining floors through cleaning and upkeep.
• Transporting waste to designated collection and/or disposal points.
• Assisting with furniture movement, event setup, and UV light operation.
