About The Position

This position is considered essential personnel and would be required to work in the event of an emergency or facility need. All SEVTC positions are required to work different shifts and/or overtime as requested.

Perform routine cleaning of resident rooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
Follow established cleaning procedures and infection control standards.
Operate and maintain cleaning equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Dispose of trash and recycling in accordance with facility guidelines.
Report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly to the supervisor.

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• General knowledge of cleaning methods and use of cleaning supplies.
• Knowledge of safety practices related to housekeeping work.
• Self-directed and motivated with good attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to follow written and oral instructions to perform required tasks

Nice To Haves

• Some experience in performing cleaning, dusting, dry mopping, wet mopping and other utility tasks
