About The Position

Join Trinity Health in Grand Rapids for an Environmental Services Hiring Event. We are seeking motivated individuals to join our Environmental Services team. No previous healthcare housekeeping experience is required, as we provide paid on-the-job training. Available positions include Environmental Services Technician (Level I & II), Housekeeper, Custodian, and Janitor. We offer full-time and part-time opportunities, with 1st shift available based on business needs. As an Environmental Services Technician, you will help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and colleagues.

Requirements

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and workloads

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience or housekeeping/environmental services experience is preferred but not required
• High school diploma or GED is not required

Responsibilities

• Cleaning patient rooms, clinical areas, offices, and public spaces
• Performing wall, stairwell, and elevator cleaning
• Completing room turnover and discharge cleaning
• Removing and rehanging curtains
• Responding to service requests throughout the hospital
• Operating floor-care equipment and performing restorative floor care
• Transporting beds throughout the facility
• Using pagers and phone systems to support daily operations
