About The Position

As a Retail Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of housekeepers while ensuring the cleanliness of the building, including but not limited to the restrooms, selling floor, office spaces & other common areas.

Requirements

3-4 years of housekeeping or janitorial experience
Resourceful self-starter, works well independently as well as part of a team
Ability to work a flexible schedule including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays
Moderate lifting (up to 35 lbs.)
Sit, stand, and walk for required periods of time
Ability to reach with hands and arms and use hands and fingers to handle objects and operate tools and/or controls

Nice To Haves

1-2 years as lead, supervisor or manager preferred

Responsibilities

Dusting the selling floor (both high and low)
Maintaining the carpets and tile floors utilizing commercial grade equipment
Sweep, collect trash and recycle material
Picking up trash from registers & offices
Dust mop and wet mop floors and vacuum rugs
Wipe down cafeteria tables, empty trash cans, dry/wet mop floors
Clean and sanitize, restock restroom supplies, empty trash cans in restrooms
Ensure that all procedures, policies, exposure standards, safety and shortage awareness are thoroughly understood and practiced
Lead housekeeping staff to provide an exceptional customer experience
Coach, motivate and develop housekeeping team to increase productivity and efficiency
Clearly communicate store and Company objectives so both management and staff are well informed
Monitor and address performance issues on a timely basis
