Position Objective The Housekeeping/Custodial position is responsible for the cleanliness of banquet areas, guest areas, offices, hallways, public areas, restrooms, and all back-of-house areas of any venue in the Léal portfolio. Strong attention to detail and time management are essential to this position. The Housekeeping/Custodial position will come in contact with guests and will need to have positive guest interactions. Housekeeping plays an important role in a positive and memorable home-away-from-home experience for each of our guests.

Requirements

  • Previous housekeeping required
  • Must be able to use time tracking software
  • Will be required to travel to other locations within the portfolio on an occasional basis, including starting your shift at different properties.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a current California Food Handlers certificate
  • Must possess and maintain a current California Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record

Responsibilities

  • Reviews daily inventory of supplies needed to complete the assignments for the day.
  • Deep cleaning, sanitation, and maintaining the appearance of all assigned areas of the venue, including dusting, vacuuming, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, guest rooms, kitchen areas, lobbies, and common areas.
  • Pick up any visible litter around the venue.
  • Perform quality cleaning following company guidelines to meet required standards within set time limits.
  • Perform all laundry duties as needed
  • Responsible for maintaining inventory and restocking supplies
  • Must practice safe working habits at all times and take appropriate breaks and lunch periods in a timely manner
  • Keep all equipment and supplies in order and stored in appropriate areas
  • Comply with all facility safety guidelines.
  • Operate all company vehicles as needed for pick-ups and deliveries at an appropriate speed and with caution
  • Ensure the proper use of equipment
  • Acknowledges and greets all guests in public spaces with a warm, friendly greeting.
  • Maintain high standards for safety and cleanliness in all areas of the property
  • Follow Company and department policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines when handling food and beverage items.
  • Being a team player is essential
  • Performs all other job duties as requested.
