About The Position

Boscov’s is seeking a Housekeeping/ Custodial Supervisor to lead and supervise a team of housekeepers, ensuring the cleanliness of the building. This includes maintaining restrooms, the selling floor, office spaces, and other common areas to provide an exceptional customer experience.

Requirements

3-4 years of housekeeping or janitorial experience
1-2 years as lead, supervisor or manager preferred
Resourceful self-starter, works well independently as well as part of a team
Ability to work a flexible schedule including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays

Responsibilities

Dusting the selling floor (both high and low)
Maintaining the carpets and tile floors utilizing commercial grade equipment
Sweep, collect trash and recycle material
Picking up trash from registers & offices
Dust mop and wet mop floors and vacuum rugs
Wipe down cafeteria tables, empty trash cans, dry/wet mop floors
Clean and sanitize, restock restroom supplies, empty trash cans in restrooms
Ensure that all procedures, policies, exposure standards, safety and shortage awareness are thoroughly understood and practiced
Lead housekeeping staff to provide an exceptional customer experience
Coach, motivate and develop housekeeping team to increase productivity and efficiency
Clearly communicate store and Company objectives so both management and staff are well informed
Monitor and address performance issues on a timely basis
