Housekeeping / Caregiver - FT - $15/hour
About The Position
Providence Place of Pottsville is seeking an energetic, customer-service-driven Housekeeping / Caregiver who enjoys cleaning and helping older adults. The Housekeeping team performs daily cleaning tasks in resident rooms, nursing stations, lounges, restrooms, offices, clinic areas, and other assigned areas, following department procedures and facility standards and objectives. Team members also assist residents with morning care, serve in the dining room, and provide assistance as needed throughout the day. This is an entry-level position with training provided. The full-time schedule is 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with work every other weekend and every other holiday. An increase is provided after successful completion of the training and orientation period.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Reliable and willing to work as part of a team.
- Must be able to work every other weekend and every other holiday.
Responsibilities
- Clean resident rooms, nursing stations, lounges, restrooms, offices, clinic areas, and other assigned areas in accordance with department procedures and facility standards.
- Assist residents with morning care.
- Serve in the dining room.
- Assist residents as needed throughout the day.
