About The Position
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness in the warehouse floor. L&R is the largest distributor and the 6th largest purchaser of cosmetics in the United States. We now distribute over 40,000 items (cosmetics, toys, school supplies, hosiery, hair accessories, OTC, HBA and more) through 3 regional warehouse locations in Arkansas, Nevada, and New Jersey.
Requirements
- Must be able to be on your feet for an 8 shift
- Position will require some bending, stooping, kneeling and be able to lift at least 50 pounds
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of cleaning supplies a plus, but not required
- Knowledge of buffing equipment a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Clean warehouse floor, as needed
- Pick up trash in the parking lots
- Gather and empty trash cans daily
- Clean up all spills in the warehouse
- Mop and sweep the floors and isles daily
- Maintain all housekeeping supplies
- Buff and polish floors as needed
- Fold and dispose of boxes near conveyors
- Make boxes for the team as needed
