Warehouse Shipping Associate - PT Afternoon Shift
About The Position
The Shipping Associate is responsible for consolidating customer orders and preparing them for shipping by specific carrier. This position involves participating in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals, filling customer orders according to standard operating procedures (SOPs), stacking boxes on pallets to be loaded onto truck making sure pallets are stretch wrapped correctly, using computer hardware and software to generate labels for boxes to be shipped, maintaining and organizing adequate shipping supplies, ensuring the shipping area is organized and clean at all times, and meets all compliance factors, and learning and applying appropriate labeling to certain shipments of federally regulated products.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Safety
- Time management
- Willingness to learn computerized scanning device
