This role involves applying appropriate cleaning techniques, procedures, and the use of products/equipment to a broad range of surfaces. Duties include sweeping, dust mopping, damp/wet mopping, dusting, polishing, scrubbing, vacuuming, and waste/trash removal. The position also includes replenishing supplies like paper towels and toilet paper, and cleaning up body fluids and waste. The Housekeeping Assistant will maintain a clean and organized housekeeping storage and cart, ensure equipment is cleaned and properly stored after use, and report any equipment malfunctions or repair needs to supervisors. The role requires adherence to department and facility policies and procedures, and maintaining records/reports/data associated with various cleaning requirements. Additionally, the position may involve performing other assigned duties within the Environmental Services' mission to meet the facility's needs and assisting in emergency declarations.
