About The Position

Brandon Wilde is seeking a hospitality-focused Housekeeping & Laundry Lead to join their team. This role is responsible for supervising and training assigned employees in Environmental Services. The Lead will coordinate work assignments to ensure maximum productivity and quality, answer house calls, assign work to staff, and conduct monthly inspections. The position also requires working as a laundry attendant, housekeeper, or porter when necessary. Brandon Wilde is a Life Plan Community on a 73-acre campus in Evans, GA, dedicated to enriching the lives of over 350 seniors.

Requirements

Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
Ability to lift 30 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize and direct the Environmental Services Department programs and activities to ensure that the organization is maintained in a clean, safe, sanitary and comfortable manner.
Coordinates Housekeeping & Laundry Services with other facility departments and agencies.
Assist in developing and maintaining written housekeeping policies and procedures.
Ensures that department personnel follow department policies and utilize equipment and supplies effectively.
Makes recommendations to the Administrator as necessary concerning the operation of the Housekeeping Department.
Performs general housekeeping duties in apartments and common areas, such as vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, and dusting all cleared flat surfaces.
Accomplishes all work in the order of priority set by the supervisor.
Evaluates the effectiveness of supplies and equipment used.
Supervising and training assigned employees in Environmental Services.
Coordinating work assignments to ensure maximum productivity and quality.
Answering all house calls and assigning work to staff.
Conducting inspections on a monthly basis and correcting problems if noted.
Work as a laundry attendant, housekeeper or porter when necessary.
