About The Position

Saratoga Retirement Community is a nonprofit Continuing Care Retirement Community located on a 37-acre hillside campus in Saratoga, California. The community provides Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and skilled nursing and rehabilitation services and is part of the Transforming Age family. The Housekeeper helps provide customer service and care for resident accommodations and shared spaces, assists with laundry as needed, and maintains housekeeping carts, closets, and equipment. The listed pay is $21 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old at the time of start.
• An upbeat, fun, outgoing personality and a can-do attitude.
• Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
• Complete any other pre-employment screenings required by state or local guidelines, which may include a physical, fingerprinting, and a TB test.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in a senior living community or hospitality setting is highly desired but not required.
• CPR and First Aid training may be required by state or local guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and care for resident accommodations and shared spaces.
• Assist with laundry services occasionally as needed.
• Keep housekeeping carts and closets neat, organized, and stocked.
• Maintain housekeeping equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
