About The Position
Saratoga Retirement Community is a nonprofit Continuing Care Retirement Community on a 37-acre hillside campus in Saratoga, California. It offers Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and skilled nursing and rehabilitation services. As part of the Transforming Age family, the community is growing and expanding its residential offerings. The Housekeeper helps maintain resident accommodations and shared spaces while providing excellent customer service to residents. Pay is $21 per hour, depending on experience.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old at the time of start.
- An upbeat, fun, outgoing personality and a can-do attitude.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for customer service and providing residents with the best experience.
- Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- May need to complete other pre-employment screenings, such as a physical, fingerprinting, and TB test, as required by state or local guidelines.
- May occasionally need to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a senior living community or hospitality setting is highly desired but not required.
- CPR and First Aid training may be required under state or local guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Care for resident accommodations and shared spaces.
- Occasionally assist with laundry services as needed.
- Keep housekeeping carts and closets neat, organized, and stocked.
- Maintain housekeeping equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
