About The Position
The Housekeeper supports general resort operations by cleaning resort units and maintaining resort quality standards. Duties include cleaning sleeping quarters, kitchens, bathrooms, and living rooms; vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing bathrooms, kitchens, and lobbies; and making beds. The Housekeeper replenishes supplies such as kitchenware and toiletries, and sorts, counts, folds, marks, or carries linens. The role also includes maintaining positive relationships with customers and associates, responding appropriately to guest inquiries and concerns, and resolving guest issues to improve the guest experience.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with employees, guests, and owners.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Professional appearance, positive can-do attitude, and team focus.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Clean resort units, including sleeping quarters, kitchens, bathrooms, and living rooms.
- Maintain and adhere to housekeeping detail standards and resort quality standards.
- Clean, vacuum, dust, and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and lobbies; make beds.
- Replenish supplies such as kitchenware and toiletries.
- Sort, count, fold, mark, or carry linens.
- Maintain positive customer and associate relationships.
- Respond appropriately to guest inquiries and concerns and resolve guest issues to improve the guest experience.
