About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a full-time Housekeeper at Cedar Trails in Freeburg, Illinois. The role provides housekeeping services that help make residents’ living spaces comfortable, clean, and welcoming, while also keeping shared areas such as the lobby and employee break room tidy and organized. The position pays $17–$22.25 per hour and is scheduled Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency.
Have a positive and energetic attitude and a strong interest in working with residents.
Maintain a professional appearance and conduct.
Be in good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks.
Have physical health verified by a physician’s health screening conducted no more than six months before employment or within seven days after employment.
Test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at the time of the health screening.
Pass criminal clearance.
Be able to meet the physical demands of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, lifting or moving items up to 25 pounds, and pushing or pulling a wheeled housekeeping cart.

Responsibilities

Provide housekeeping services for residents’ areas to keep them clean, comfortable, and welcoming.
Maintain shared areas, including the lobby and employee break room, keeping them tidy and organized.
Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the workday.
Frequently lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds and push or pull a wheeled housekeeping cart.
