About The Position

The Housekeeper helps make the hotel feel like home by providing clean, comfortable guest rooms and supporting a positive, memorable stay. The role involves cleaning multiple rooms each day, maintaining guest-room supplies and standards, assisting guests encountered during the shift, reporting maintenance issues, and collaborating with other hotel departments. The position requires continuous movement, standing and walking throughout the shift, repetitive motions, and regular bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving items up to 25 pounds. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Requirements

Basic verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift and perform repetitive motions.
Ability to regularly bend, lift, push, pull, carry, and move items up to 25 pounds.
Availability to work weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Previous cleaning, janitorial, or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Wipe surfaces, dust, and vacuum guest rooms according to brand standards.
Change linens, make beds, and restock guest-room supplies.
Clean bathrooms and remove trash.
Follow hotel training on green practices.
Greet and assist guests encountered during the shift in a friendly manner.
Clean multiple rooms each day.
Report broken, defective, or missing items to the maintenance team.
Support hotel goals through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.
