HOUSEKEEPER (ON CALL)
About The Position
Crothall Healthcare is hiring an on-call Housekeeper at California Rehabilitation Institute in Los Angeles, California. The position performs light cleaning duties to maintain a clean and orderly healthcare establishment. Prior housekeeping experience is required, and training is available. The fixed pay rate is $25.00 per hour. The schedule is on call, Sunday through Saturday, with hours that may vary. Crothall Healthcare provides specialized support services to the healthcare industry. The role calls for careful, high-quality service and professionalism when working with customers, fellow associates, and others.
Requirements
- Prior housekeeping experience is required.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality customer service and one-on-one attention to detail.
- Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
- Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
- Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
- Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
- Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
- Empty and clean trash containers and dispose of trash in a sanitary manner.
- Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
- Wipe down glass surfaces.
- Make beds and change linens as required.
- Realign furniture and amenities according to the prescribed layout.
- Respond to guest queries and requests.
- Respond to housekeeping problems such as spills and broken glasses.
- Contribute to team efforts and demonstrate professionalism with customers, fellow associates, and others.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
