About The Position

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Housekeeper to help maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. The role involves cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices; following sanitation, safety, and infection-control procedures; maintaining cleaning records; and reporting maintenance or safety concerns. The Housekeeper is expected to interact positively with residents, staff, and guests and contribute to a welcoming environment. Starting pay is $16.90 per hour, with actual wages varying based on factors including location, experience, staffing needs, and other business reasons. This is an on-call position. Residency within the service area is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Be able to work around cleaning products.
• Be able to follow oral and written instructions and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Clean and sanitize all areas according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection-control and universal-precautions policies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests while providing customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
