About The Position

The Housekeeper performs commercial cleaning at SEPTA R5 Lansdale Facilities in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, on Saturdays from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM. The role follows ServiceMaster TBS Division’s commercial cleaning task schedules and uses the company’s products, tools, procedures, and personal protective equipment where required. On-the-job training is provided for candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Requirements

Arrive at the work location at the scheduled time.
Work within the allotted hours.
Be able to differentiate between cleaning products and their uses.
Be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Ability to perform constant standing, walking, pushing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Empty trash.
Dust furniture, including desks, chairs, and tables.
Dust exposed surfaces, including window sills, ledges, and moldings.
Clean glass and mirrors.
Clean and sanitize restrooms using ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures.
Vacuum and mop floors.
Perform weekly detailed cleaning.
Use PPE where required.
Complete special requests communicated by the client and record them in the company log.
Follow company policies and procedures and wear the proper uniform.
Contribute to a positive work climate and show respect for co-workers and customers.
