About The Position

NALS Apartment Homes is seeking a reliable Housekeeper for Towne Square Apartment Homes. The Housekeeper helps maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the property by preparing make-ready apartments, the office, and common areas. This is a career position for someone seeking longevity. The stated schedule is a 40-hour work week, 7 a.m.–4 p.m., with starting compensation of $21–$22 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in the same or a related field.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all types of weather.
• Ability to perform medium to heavy work, including prolonged or repeated standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching, and frequent lifting and carrying of up to 25 pounds.
• Good hand-eye coordination, including the ability to ascend and descend ladders and stairs and perform repetitive or continuous tasks according to set procedures and sequences.

Responsibilities

• Clean and dust the office, clubhouse, laundry facility, barbecue grills, and common areas each morning.
• Prepare coffee and other refreshments for the office opening.
• Clean all model apartments weekly.
• Water plants outside the model entrance twice a week or as needed.
• Clean apartment units, including floors, blinds, switch plates, mirrors, storage closet areas, windowsills, doors, and kitchen and bathroom surfaces and fixtures.
• Ensure all make-ready apartments are cleaned properly and promptly.
• Perform additional duties, responsibilities, or projects as assigned.
