About The Position

North Star Retirement Community, a Stellar Senior Living community in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, is seeking a reliable and friendly Housekeeper. The role keeps residents' living areas clean and serviced to high standards and responds promptly and politely to residents' complaints and questions. The ideal candidate is pleasant, detail-oriented, and friendly.

Housekeepers clean assigned resident apartments and common areas according to facility procedures, maintain a stocked cleaning cart, and dispose of waste safely. They respect each resident's rights, dignity, privacy, individuality, and preferences when entering and cleaning their living spaces.

Part-time and full-time schedules are available. The employer offers an hourly wage of $17.50, benefits, training and learning opportunities, a free meal each shift, and on-demand pay.

Requirements

• Ability to follow cleaning product instructions.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• A record of punctuality and reliability.

Nice To Haves

• Proven experience in house, office, or hotel cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a stocked cleaning cart with needed items.
• Demonstrate knowledge of and respect for each resident's rights, dignity, and individuality in all interactions.
• Clean assigned resident apartments and common areas daily according to facility procedures, including dusting, dry mopping, wet mopping, sanitizing, and scrubbing.
• Respect residents' privacy and preferences regarding room arrangements and personal items; knock before entering resident areas and seek residents' input on cleaning methods within reason.
• Dispose of trash, waste, and other materials safely, using identified precautions for contaminated materials.
• Resolve resident complaints and queries promptly and politely.
