About The Position

The Housekeeper is responsible for keeping a clean and healthy client care environment by maintaining assigned areas in a clean, safe, sanitary and orderly manner. Advises supervisor on environmental services equipment needs and repairs. Ensures that infectious waste and confidential disposal contractors perform as scheduled. Help us keep our facility clean, safe, and welcoming for clients and staff.

Requirements

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Housekeeping experience in healthcare, clinical, or commercial setting

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of patient rooms, offices, bathrooms, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, scrub, wax, and polish floors
• Clean and disinfect furniture, fixtures, equipment, and high-touch surfaces
• Wash walls, windows, door panels, and woodwork
• Launder linens using commercial washers/dryers
• Remake beds after client discharge
• Remove trash and transport waste properly
• Maintain supply inventory and cleaning equipment
• Follow infection control and safety guidelines
• Assist with room setup for meetings and events
