About The Position

Performs cleaning functions in an assigned area to maintain sanitary, attractive, and orderly conditions. Reports to the Supervisor. May assist with Laundry Tech Linen Handler and Utility Tech functions as needed. Participates in educational programs and in-services and attends meetings as required.

Requirements

• Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks using detailed written instructions.
• Attention to detail in work routines.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and polish floors.
• Vacuum and spot-clean carpets.
• Dust furniture, woodwork, and equipment, and dust-mop floors.
• Polish and clean fixtures in utility rooms and bathrooms.
• Clean fixtures, equipment, windows, walls, rest rooms, and other areas.
• Stock supplies in rest rooms as needed.
• Remove soiled linens, trash, and biohazardous materials from collection areas.
• Notify the supervisor about needed repairs and submit supply order sheets weekly.
• Gather and dispose of trash and waste materials.
• Assist with and perform Laundry Tech Linen Handler functions as needed.
• Assist with and perform Utility Tech functions as needed.
• Participate in educational programs and in-services.
• Attend meetings as required.
