About The Position

McMenamins Olympic Club is hiring for a Housekeeper. McMenamins is a family-owned company in Oregon and Washington that serves handcrafted beer, wine, cider, spirits, and coffee alongside pub fare. The primary responsibility of the housekeeping staff is to clean and maintain hotel rooms in a timely manner, ensuring they are clean and pleasant for guests. This role is crucial in providing guests with a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Housekeepers are responsible for finished rooms, cleaning projects, and knowledge of company policies and procedures related to housekeeping. Excellent customer service is also a key component of this position. The role requires mental agility and the ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• Must be 18+ years old
• Must be available to work weekends and AM schedule
• Enjoy working in a busy customer service-oriented environment
• Ability to work well independently and as a member of a team
• Mental agility and ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment

Responsibilities

• Daily preparation of rooms
• Changing linens on the bed
• Upkeep of linen closets
• Cleaning of toilets, sinks, and showers
• Cleaning floors
• Assisting the maintenance (janitorial) staff when needed
• Providing support to the front desk as needed
• Assisting guests in any manner possible (e.g., getting ironing boards, cribs)
• Answering guest questions
• Providing excellent customer service to hotel guests and customers
