About The Position

Englewood Health and Rehabilitation is hiring a part-time evening Housekeeper to provide housekeeping services that help maintain the facility, grounds, furnishings, and equipment. The role is part of the environmental team and contributes to residents' ability to reach and maintain their highest functional abilities. The position requires safe and effective housekeeping practices, cooperation with other departments, and respect for residents' personal and property rights. A high school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.

Requirements

• Thorough understanding of the principles of safe, effective housekeeping practices within the state of employment.
• Ability to be a team player and partner with other departments.

Responsibilities

• Provide a full range of housekeeping services to maintain the grounds, furnishings, equipment, and facility.
• Maintain cleaning schedules for the assigned area.
• Coordinate routine and terminal isolation procedures with Nursing Services.
• Know and follow applicable safety regulations, policies, procedures, and precautions.
• Immediately report unsafe or hazardous conditions and defective equipment to a supervisor.
• Honor residents’ personal and property rights.
• File complaints or grievances with a supervisor in a timely manner.
