About The Position

Englewood Health and Rehabilitation is hiring a part-time evening Housekeeper to provide housekeeping services that maintain the facility, grounds, furnishings, and equipment. The role is part of the environmental team and supports residents’ ability to reach and maintain their highest functional abilities. A high school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.

Requirements

• Thorough understanding of the principles of safe and effective housekeeping practices within the state of employment.
• Ability to work as a team player and partner with other departments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleaning schedules for assigned areas.
• Coordinate routine and terminal isolation procedures with Nursing Services.
• Maintain knowledge of safety regulations, policies, and procedures, and follow established safety precautions.
• Immediately report unsafe or hazardous conditions and defective equipment to a supervisor.
• Honor residents’ personal and property rights.
• File complaints or grievances with a supervisor in a timely fashion.
