About The Position

A Housekeeper performs environmental service activities to help keep the facility clean, efficient, and effective. Duties include housekeeping and facility cleaning, as well as laundry and linen tasks, to provide a sanitary and aseptic environment for patients, visitors, and hospital staff. The role works on a PRN, variable schedule.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare or hospital setting is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a sanitary, safe environment and enhance the appearance of the facility.
• Clean patient rooms and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Stock paper items and other supplies in patient rooms as needed or designated.
• Keep carts and equipment clean and in working condition, and store them in the appropriate area after the shift.
• Perform assigned laundry and linen duties.
