About The Position

Advanced Recovery Systems is an integrated behavioral healthcare management company focused on addiction, substance use, and mental health treatment. The Recovery Village Columbus Drug and Alcohol Rehab is an 80-bed facility in Groveport, Ohio, providing a continuum of care from medical detox and inpatient treatment to outpatient care and aftercare. The Housekeeper is responsible for major floor cleaning and refinishing functions, using cleaning devices and other necessary equipment, tools, products, and supplies in accordance with facility objectives. The role also maintains and distributes linen inventory and oversees setup for special functions. The schedule is Monday through Friday.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prefer one year of housekeeping experience in a health care facility or a personal preference for housekeeping.

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning functions in assigned areas according to established schedules and prescribed methods.
Scrub hard-surface flooring to remove soil and all or part of its finish, then refinish it to a glossy appearance.
Shampoo carpets and remove carpet spots.
Report observed needs for repairs to equipment, furniture, buildings, and fixtures.
Move and arrange furniture.
Maintain the cleanliness of the assigned work area and equipment.
Assist with cleaning emergency spills.
Communicate clearly and concisely.
Work effectively with others.
Adapt to changing situations or work assignments.
Follow uniform and dress-code requirements and maintain personal hygiene and good grooming.
Identify potential problems within the department and seek management guidance.
Maintain and distribute linen inventory and oversee setup for special functions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
