About The Position

The Housekeeper joins the Environmental Services team at Henry Ford Health and maintains the cleanliness and orderliness of assigned areas across Henry Ford Health System locations. The role supports patients, staff, and visitors by helping provide a sanitary, safe, and welcoming environment. The Housekeeper contributes to patient safety and satisfaction and upholds the organization’s cleanliness and sanitation standards. The position involves direct interaction with patients and is part of a mission-driven team with opportunities for career growth, collaboration, and continuous learning and development.

Requirements

• High school diploma, G.E.D., or six months to one year of experience.
• Ability to interact directly with the patient population.
• Demonstrated high level of customer service and a “Patients First” sensibility.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a healthcare or custodial role.
